We'll pick you up from your hotel in Bento Gonçalves at the appointed time and start this tour of the most important wine estates in Serra Gaúcha. Doesn't that sound good?
During the visit to the wineries we'll learn about the modern technologies used in their facilities to obtain wine on a large scale, as well as the traditional methods used by the smaller estates with more limited production.
First, we'll take a one-hour visit to the Aurora Winery, where we'll discover that it's the largest wine-producing cooperative in Brazil, made up of several families working in the business.
Later we'll go to the Michele Carraro and Barcarola wineries for a 40-minute visit to each of them. After getting to know them, we'll move on to the Valbrenta cheese factory, where the staff will tell us all about how their delicious cheese is made.
After learning more about these two important parts of the region's cusine, we'll take you back to your hotel four hours after the start of the tour.
