We'll meet at 2:45 pm in the Benicassim Tourist Office and head to the Ebro Delta wetlands, where we'll see its unique ecosystem.
1 hour and 15 minutes later, we'll arrive in the stunning region of Catalonia. We'll board a catamaran that'll allow us to see the beauty of this extraordinary environment up close. On our tour, we'll pass by Buda Island, the largest island in Catalonia, which has more than 3 miles (5 km) of unspoilt beaches.
Some of the birds we'll spot on the riverbanks include seagulls, flamingos, ducks, swans, and stone curlews. After seeing this incredible biodiversity, we'll enter the region's immense rice fields. These rice fields have 6 different varieties of rice that bear the seal of Protected Origin of Destination.
After a 50 minute catamaran ride, we'll arrive at the Ebro Delta Ecomuseum where we'll learn more about this area's biodiversity.
Once we've finished at the museum, we'll get on the bus and be back in Benicassim at 8:15 pm.
