We'll meet at the Plaza de las Tres Culturas at the scheduled time, specifically in front of the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art. There, we'll start this free tour through the old town of Benalmadena.
Located in the heart of the Costa del Sol, Benalmadena has a very special charm. Together with a guide, we'll discover the history of the town while strolling through its streets full of flowers and white houses.
First, we'll visit the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, where we'll delve into the past of this town in Malaga. We'll continue the guided tour by walking through the Plaza de Andalucia, the predecessor of the famous Plaza de España. One of the most popular figures of Benalmadena, the little girl statue, is located in the center of the square.
After learning about the history of this iconic fountain, we'll visit the church of Santo Domingo de Guzman, where we'll hear the legend of the Virgin of the Cross. Finally, we'll walk to the Jardines del Muro, from where we'll have a privileged view of the town.
