Provençal Lavender Farm Tour
Provençal Lavender Farm Tour
We'll kick start our guided tour of an authentic Proveçal lavender farm by meeting at the entrance to Un MAS en Provence in Bellegarde.
Firstly, we'll stroll through the extensive lavender fields to discover the secrets behind this famed aromatic plant. Ever wondered about lavender cultivation methods or what lends it its intense mauve hue? We'll delve into its secrets and more amid the serene landscapes of Provence.
From the fields, we'll make our way into the farmhouse's distillery to find the steam still. Thanks to this piece of machinery, we can witness the essential oil cultivation process and see firsthand how high-quality organic essential oils are made.
Then, our visit continues as we enter the projection room to enjoy a short video about daily life on the lavender farm. Afterward, we'll participate in an exciting olfactory initiation workshop to learn about different essential oils and how to identify them for daily use.
After 1 hour of lavender bliss, we'll return to the starting point and bring our visit to an end.
