Zemun Free Tour
Description
We'll meet at the indicated time at the Prince Mihailo Monument in Belgrade's Republic Square and embark on a free tour of Zemun, one of the oldest parts of Serbia's capital, a place as fascinating as its history!
Once we set foot in the heart of Zemun, we'll walk through its most modern area: Glavna Street. Afterwards, we'll stroll towards Glopodska to see its collection of historic buildings.
We'll pass the Opera House and Madlenianum theatre, as well as the neighbourhood market as we ascend Gardos Hill, where we'll visit Millennium Tower. Do you know what this building represents and why it was built? We'll find out!
After admiring the panoramic view from the top of the hill, we'll head towards the centre to see the facade of Nikolajevska Church. We'll talk about Zemun's history since the 3rd century BC and how it has evolved since.
After 3 hours, we'll say goodbye at Danube Quay, where we'll conclude our free tour of Zemun. See you next time!
