At 8 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Belgrade before setting off for the impressive Danube Valley.
After a two-hour drive following the course of the Danube, we'll arrive at the Golubac Fortress, a medieval stronghold built on cliffs that at first sight seem inaccessible. From a distance, we'll see its mystical towers, which look like they're straight out of a fairy tale. From the top of one of these towers, you'll get the best views of the area: an aerial view of the Iron Gates of the Danube, the broadest part of the river, and its breathtaking surroundings.
We'll then hop back in the vehicle and we'll be taken back in time all the way to the Mesolithic at our next stop: the archaeological site of Lepenski Vir, one of the oldest prehistoric settlements in Europe. We'll also stop at the Kapetan Mišin Breg eco-ethno complex, where we'll get incredible views of the Djerdap gorge, the border between eastern Serbia and Romania.
After this, we'll take you to your hotel and say our goodbyes at around 6 pm.
Hotel pickup
This tour includes pickup from hotels located no more than 5 kilometers from Republic Square in Belgrade. If you're staying more than 5 kilometers away, the guide will meet you at the scheduled time at Students' Square, 5, where you'll find a blue sign indicating the meeting point.
