See the best of Northern Ireland with this day trip to Giant's Causeway, the Titanic Experience and Dark Hedges from Belfast.
Giant's Causeway and Titanic Tour
We'll meet in Belfast at 9:15 am, and we'll start our bus journey to explore the greatest tourist attractions in Northern Ireland. Our expert guides entertain you throughout the journey, recounting some of the extraordinary Irish myths and legends.
Our first stop will be a photo opportunity at the picturesque Dunluce Castle. Dating back to at least 1513, this castle built on a rock looking over the ocean is the perfect location for an Instagram-worthy snap.
Next, we'll head to the world famous Giant's Causeway. Declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986, this is the most visited tourist attraction in Northern Ireland. Legend has it that Giant's Causeway was built by the Irish giant Finn McCool in an attempt to build a bridge to Scotland, so he could fight Scottish giant Bennandonner. You'll have approximately an hour and a half of free time to explore the 40,000 interlocking hexagonal basalt columns formed between 50 and 60 million years ago.
After seeing this incredible natural wonder, we'll then make our way to Dark Hedges. This is a 300-year old lane of beech trees that have featured in international films and TV series such as Game of Thrones and Transformers. We'll spend about 20 minutes here and once again you'll have the chance to take impressive photos.
We'll then head back to Belfast and visit the Titanic Museum. Considered one of the world's leading tourist attractions it's the biggest museum in the world regarding the Titanic disaster. The famous ship was built on this exact spot, and you can explore the shipyard and uncover the secrets of the legend. The museum tells the story of the building of the ship and the ill-fated maiden voyage that secured her place in history. With innovative technology, archive materials and interactive displays, this museum is a must-see on any trip to Belfast.
The tour will end in Belfast city centre at around 5 pm.
