Belen Amazonian Parks Tour
Belen Amazonian Parks Tour
At the indicated time we'll pick you up at your hotel in Belen to start this tour through its parks. We'll see examples of Amazonian fauna and flora without leaving the city center.
We'll start at the Mangal das Garças environmental park, a space on the banks of the Guamá River that occupies an area of 40,000 square meters where you can see birds in their natural habitat. We'll also get to see and learn about the life cycle of butterflies in the Butterfly Farm and, finally, we'll climb the tower to admire fabulous views of Belém from this point.
Next, we'll head to the Botanical Garden Museu Emílio Goeldi, a center founded in 1911 that has become a true reference in the study and research of Amazonian fauna and culture. In fact, did you know that it's the oldest scientific institution in the Amazon?
We'll finish the tour by heading to the French-inspired Rodrigues Alves Forest. This 15-hectare area is home to an area of preserved Amazon rainforest - you'll love it!
After three and a half hours, we'll take you back to your hotel, where we'll conclude the activity.
