Syria 7-Day Tour Package

Day 1: Damascus

Once you have landed at the airport in Damascus or Beirut, whichever you prefer, we'll pick you up and take you to the hotel so you can leave your luggage. You'll have the rest of the day free to rest or start exploring at your own pace and begin to fall in love with all of the vibrant and charming spots in the Syrian capital.

Day 2: Damascus

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we'll set off for a tour of Damascus so that you can learn about the history behind the main monuments and places of interest. We'll walk for part of the tour and drive for other parts so that you have the chance to get a complete overview of this remarkable bustling city.

We'll first visit the National Museum of Archaeology, where we'll delve into the first chapters of human existence. Next, we'll visit the 18th-century Al-Azem palace and the Great Umayyad Mosque. Did you know that it was built on the site of an ancient Roman temple? Attached to this building is the mausoleum of Saladin. We'll reveal the most fascinating moments in the lifetime of this dignified ruler of the Islamic world.

The Straight Street of Damascus, the chapel of St. Ananias, and the souks of the city are other notable stops along the tour. Of course, we'll leave you free time for lunch and dinner in the city.

Day 3: Damascus- Maaloula - Krak des Chevaliers - Homs

We'll have breakfast at the hotel in Damascus and leave the capital behind for Maaloula, a nearby village famous for its houses carved from rock. Its inhabitants still speak Aramaic, the ancient language of Christ

Then, we'll travel two hours by road to reach the Krak des Chevaliers, protected as a World Heritage Site for being one of the best-preserved castles of the Middle Ages. We'll explore its vast halls and learn about the crucial role this fortress played during the Crusades.

The last stop of the day will be in Homs, the third largest city in Syria. We'll relax and refuel, getting ready for a big day tomorrow.

Day 4: Homs - Palmira - Hama

On the fourth day, after breakfast, we'll drive into the Syrian desert to explore the ancient city of Palmyra. The drive will take about two hours.

We'll admire the ruins of the Temple of Bel, which date back to the year 32, walk through the area of the Great Colonnade, and visit the theater, the agora, and other distinctive places. A blast to the past!

After the guided tour of Palmyra, we'll go to the city of Hama, where you'll have the rest of the day free for lunch and to stroll around at your leisure.

Day 5: Hama - Aleppo

Once we've had breakfast, we'll spend the morning touring Hama. We'll learn about its history and take stunning photos of the famous wooden mills that line the banks of the Orontes River

We'll then spend two hours on the road heading north towards the city of Aleppo, the most populated city in the country, as our final destination. Once we arrive in this bustling metropolis, we'll leave you to your own devices so that you can have lunch and explore. This remarkable city for centuries has played a fundamental role as an ancient crossroads between trade routes from the Mediterranean and the Euphrates.

That night, we'll sleep at a hotel in Aleppo and rest up until the next day.

Day 6: Aleppo - Damascus

Good morning! After another hearty breakfast, we'll head out for a guided tour of Aleppo so that we can experience first-hand all the charms of this city. We'll see one of the largest and oldest castles in the world, get the chance to go inside the Great Mosque, discover what a caravanserai is, and do some shopping in the souk

We'll have lunch and spend the afternoon traveling from the north back down to the south of the country and return to Damascus, where we'll have dinner and relax after a 4-hour road trip.

Day 7: Damascus

It's time for farewells. You'll have breakfast at the hotel and then we'll drive you back to the airport in Damascus or Beirut in time to board your flight. Happy travels!
