We'll pick you up at your hotel in Beirut at the scheduled time to kick off this journey to Deir Al Qamar and Beit ed-Dine. Get ready to experience the charm of the Chouf region with a delightful wine tasting.
Our first stop is the village of Deir el Qamar, where you'll wander through its narrow streets and historic buildings, feeling like you're in an open-air museum. Located in southern Lebanon, this town boasts must-see attractions like the Fakhreddine Mosque, the Palace of Fakhreddine II, and the Palace of Emir Youssef Chehab.
Just 5 kilometers (3 miles) away, we'll reach Beit ed-Dine, a small city famous for its magnificent Beiteddine Palace, often referred to as the Alhambra of Lebanon. We'll learn about the annual Beiteddine Festival held during the summer season.
Before concluding the excursion, we'll visit one of the most famous wineries in Chouf, offering you the chance to taste some local wines. Cheers!
