We'll begin this private tour after picking you up from your hotel in Beijing at the designated time by minibus. Once we're all aboard, we'll begin the journey to the Yanqing district, where we'll find our first stop. Are you ready for an adventure-filled day?
After a 2-hour drive, we'll reach the impressive Longqing Gorge canyon. As soon as we arrive, you'll be blown away by the rugged landscape full of lush vegetation. This spot is known by many locals as the Little Three Gorges or Mini Li River. Find out why on this tour!
We'll then reach Longqing Lake and we'll embark on a 2-hour scenic boat cruise. During the journey, we'll get to see high hills, the famous dragon-shaped staircase, and the colourful cabins of the cable car.
To re-energise, we'll visit a local restaurant, where we'll get to enjoy a delicious Chinese lunch. Afterwards, we'll continue our day trip by turning towards the mysterious Ming Tombs. Such an interesting landmark!
We'll delve into this underground palace and learn about the history of its construction. We'll discuss the most important emperors who have been buried in this necropolis. Did you know that the tombs were built because the Ming dynasty believed that the deceased still had needs for luxury and comfort?
After uncovering countless curiosities, we'll begin our journey back to Beijing and say our goodbyes at your hotel 8 hours after our initial pickup.
