See one of the most spectacular sections of the Great Wall of China, the Mutianyu part. You'll leave Beijing and enjoy an unforgettable day alongside one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Tour Description

At the time indicated, we'll meet at Dongzhimen Station and head by minibus towards the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China, specifically at the Mutianyu section.

On the way, you'll be able to make the most of an English-speaking local guide, who'll give you plenty of interesting facts about the enormous construction, dating from the 5th century. The drive to this famous World Heritage Site will take about an hour and a half.

Having arrived, you'll skip the never-ending lines, to get up close to the most famous of Chinese monuments. You'll have 5 hours to explore the Mutianyu section of the wall, one of the best sections of the wall to visit.

You can challenge yourself to a 6-kilometre (3.7 miles) walk to one of the tallest towers or, if you prefer, buy a ticket for the cable car. You decide! Whatever you choose it will be amazing.

As well as that, when booking you can choose a tour which includes a Chinese buffet lunch at Mubus Restaurant. You'll love it!

Once you've explored the Great Wall of China, with a truly unforgettable experience behind you, we'll return to Beijing and end this tour after 8.5 hours at the starting point.

Facilitan mucho el viaje a la muralla con este tour. Es muy conveniente que se encarguen del transporte, boletos de entrada y boletos de funicular. Como desventajas, comentaría qué el tour sale muy tarde de la ciudad, y si te toca un día con tráfico, empezarás a subir la muralla casi a las 2 pm o más tarde aun si compras el paquete con comida. They make traveling to the wall very easy with this tour. It's very convenient that they take care of transportation, entrance tickets, and the funicular tickets. As a downside, I'd mention that the tour leaves the city very late, and if you have a busy day, you'll start climbing the wall at almost 2 p.m. or later, even if you buy the package with food. Gran excursión. La guía, a la que cariñosamente bautizamos como “Cielo” fue un 10, nos trató de lujo, nos contó muchas curiosidades de la muralla y nos aconsejó sobre lugares lugares de interés que visitar. Nos recomendó que parte de la muralla visitar primero y así que nos diera tiempo a verlo todo y para la comida nos avisó de que podíamos dejar en una caja guardada lo que quisiéramos del buffet para comernoslo a la vuelta. Great excursion. The guide, whom we affectionately called "Cielo," was a 10/10. She treated us wonderfully, told us lots of interesting facts about the wall, and advised us on places of interest to visit. She recommended which part of the wall to visit first so we'd have time to see everything. For lunch, she told us we could leave whatever we wanted from the buffet in a safe box to eat on our return. La visita esta muy cuidada. La agencia te recoge en Pekín, te lleva a la muralla, te explica que tickets comprar y te acompañan hasta la entrada del telesilla. La subida a la muralla, el paseo por la muralla y la bajada las haces por tu cuenta. Vuelves a quedar con ellos para volver. En todo momento están muy pendientes de ti. Muy recomendable! Yasmine, la guia muy amable y atenta desde el minuto 1. Una vez alliz el buffet restaurant un poco Justo,pero lo demas genial. Nos recomendaron hacer los dos circuitos y da tiempo de sobras, y luego de bajada, haces el tobogan y abajo te relajas en alguna cafeteria hasta la hora de encuentro. Un dia completo! The tour is not cheap, considering how much you could pay just arranging everything on your own. BUT it definitely worth it. You don’t have to think about nothing, just enjoying the amazing Great Wall! Mutianyu section is feasible, fun and wonderful at the same time. If you need something not so far from Beijing to be done comfortably in just 1 day, this is definitely the right tour. Do your best to reach tower n.20 and feel like an hero!!
