At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Dongzhimen Metro Station to board a boat that will bring us to the Huanghuacheng Great Wall, one of the most unique sections of this famous landmark. Did you know that this section is known as the Great Wall of Water? You'll understand why as soon as you see it!
During the 2-hour tour, we'll reveal fascinating details about the history and significance of this amazing ancient construction. Along the way, you'll learn how it was built on these steep mountains and how it has stood the test of time.
Upon arrival in Huanghuacheng, you'll have 5 hours of free time to explore the area at your own pace. You'll be able to climb up the steep sections of the wall and admire the panoramic views from the top.
Next up, we'll take a boat ride on Haoming Lake, where you'll get a breathtaking view of the wall reflected in the water—a sight you will never forget!
If you wish, you can bring your own lunch or have lunch in one of the local restaurants before we meet again for the return journey to Beijing. Upon arrival at the meeting point, we'll say goodbye after 10 hours in total.
