Throughout this exhibition, you'll learn many facts about the weather that these vineyards require, the most characteristic types of grapes in the region, and the viticulture techniques used for generations. You'll also learn about the history of the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) Côte d'Or (Côte d'Or Protected Designation of Origin), one of the most important in the country.
Your ticket also includes a tasting of one glass of Burgundy wine or grape juice, whichever you prefer. The Climats, terroirs of Burgundy also organizes different wine-tasting workshops that you can enjoy at your own pace.
Opening Times
The Climats, terroirs of Burgundy is open Monday to Sunday at the following times:
- From January 1 to March 31: open from 10 am to 5 pm
- From April 1 to May 30: open from 10 am to 6 pm
- From June 1 to September 30: open from 10 am to 7 pm
- From October 1 to December 31: open from 10 am to 6 pm
The final admission is 1 hour before closing.
Reduced Ticket
The following people are eligible for the reduced rate: unemployed people, students, people with disabilities, holders of an education card, tour guides, ICOMOS cardholders, and those with a TER train ticket to Beaune issued at least 48 hours before their visit to the Climats, terroirs of Burgundy. In all cases, valid proof of status and identification must be presented.
