After picking you up from your hotel at the designated time, we'll go to a nearby stable to enjoy our horseback ride through Bayahíbe. First, we'll provide you with all the necessary equipment and give you brief safety instructions so that you're more than ready for this adventure. Giddy up!
We'll explore the heart of the town of Bayahíbe through its alleyways surrounded by picturesque little houses that reflect the essence of this coastal town's daily life. Afterward, we'll head to the coast, where the scenery changes completely. We'll start to enter the tropical jungle surrounding Bayahíbe, a unique ecosystem in the Dominican Caribbean.
As we continue, if we're lucky, we'll spot some peacocks. It's quite common to see iguanas sunbathing among the bushes. We'll then continue along the trails that will take us to strategic viewpoints, where we'll see the lovely scenic views of the Parque Nacional del Este, also known as Cotubanamá National Park. Cameras at the ready?
We'll make a stop at a ranch, where you'll have the chance to enjoy seasonal fruit as we tell you about the vegetation and fauna around us. Lastly, we'll calmly begin our journey back, enjoying the sounds of nature and our horseback ride along the trail.
Our horseback riding experience will come to an end after dropping you off at your hotel, where you'll arrive 2 hours after pickup. See you next time!
