The Bath sightseeing bus is the ideal way to discover this city famous for its Roman baths. You can hop on and hop off at any of its stops, admiring the main monuments in the area.

Bus Tour Details

The Bath hop-on hop-off bus has two routes, specifically designed so you can enjoy the main city sights. From aboard the open-top bus, you'll have incredible views that you can capture perfectly with your cameras. Additionally, throughout the tour, you'll have access to recorded commentaries in English that will tell you all about the different monuments we drive past.

The Red Route will start at Bath Abbey and will take you through the city centre, passing by the impressive Royal Crescent, the photogenic Pulteney, and the historical Bath Abbey

Once you've explored the city centre, you can hop onto the Green Route at Manvers Street and enjoy scenic views of the landscapes surrounding the city. This route includes stops at locations such as Prior Park Landscape Gardens, the University of Bath, and the American Museum, where you'll get to know a different side of Bath. You'll be surprised!

How Does It Work?

The ticket for the Bath sightseeing bus is valid for one day within operating hours. To make the most of it, we recommend starting your tour with the first bus. During this time, you can hop on and off the buses as many times as you like to explore Bath's most famous spots.

Timetable & Frequency

From January 2 to February 28:

  • Red Route: daily between 10 am and 3:30 pm, every 30 minutes
  • Green Route: daily between 11 am and 4 pm, every 60 minutes

From March 1 to March 22:

  • Red Route: daily between 10 am and 5 pm, every 20 minutes
  • Green Route: daily between 11 am and 4 pm, every 60 minutes

From March 23 to May 31

  • Red Route: daily between 9:30 am and 5:30 pm, every 15 minutes
  • Green Route: daily between 10:30 am and 5 pm, every 30 minutes

From June 1 to September 30:

  • Red Route: daily between 9:45 am and 6:30 pm, every 15 minutes
  • Green Route: daily between 10:30 am and 5:30 pm, every 30 minutes

From October 1 to November 30:

  • Red Route: daily between 9:30 am and 5:30 pm, every 15 minutes
  • Green Route: daily between 10:30 am and 5 pm, every 30 minutes

From December 1 to December 31

  • Red Route: daily between 10 am and 5 pm, every 20 minutes
  • Green Route: daily between 10:30 am and 5 pm, every 30 minutes

Family Tickets & Children Under 5

When booking, you can also choose a family ticket, valid for two adults and three children between 5 and 15 years old. Children under 5 can travel for free as long as they do not occupy a seat and are seated on the lap of a parent or guardian during the journeys.
