Scuba Diving in Baru
Description
Get ready for an incredible diving adventure in Baru! We'll meet at the Afrocorales Beach Club at the designated time. From there, we'll hop on a boat that will take us to explore the hidden paradise beneath the crystal-clear Caribbean waters.
Our first stop will be at a large coral reef barrier, where we'll review the basic safety measures before embarking on the first dive. Ready to dive in? It's time to explore the rich marine life of Baru's island for approximately half an hour. Get ready to encounter parrotfish, trumpetfish, barracudas, turtles, and more – the biodiversity here is simply astonishing!
Next, we'll head to a shipwreck area, where you can witness the remains of several sunken boats. During our second dive, we'll uncover how different marine species have made these wrecks their own homes.
After these exhilarating experiences, we'll head back to the boat and make our way back to the starting point. The whole activity will last between two and a half to three hours, leaving you with unforgettable memories of this underwater paradise.
Certified divers
If you have an international diving certification please remember to bring it with you. Non-certified divers won't be able to do the second dive but will still be able to appreciate the shipwreck from the surface.
