Diving Introduction in Baru
Description
We'll meet at the indicated time at the dive center located in the Club de Playa Afrocorales. Ready to go on an aquatic adventure in Baru?
Before we head out into the open sea, you'll learn the essential techniques of scuba diving. You'll receive a theory lesson which you'll then put into practice in confined waters. We'll make sure you've got a hang of how to breathe with the regulator and the underwater communication signals.
Then, once you're properly prepared, we'll hop on the boat and head to the Baru barrier reef! Here, we'll do a total of two dives. Each of them will last approximately 30 minutes.
Underwater, we'll explore in depth the rich marine biodiversity of the island of Baru. We'll see parrotfish, lionfish, trumpetfish, urchins, barracudas, and maybe even sea turtles!
After a 2.5-3 hour activity, we'll say goodbye at the starting point.
