Atins Lagoon Hiking Trip
We will pick you up from your hotel in Barreirinhas between 7:40 and 8:20 am. From there, we will take a 4x4 trip to the Preguiças River, where we the board a raft and cross to the other side.
Once we have crossed the river, we start a brilliant one and a half hour hike through the picturesque Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. Our first stop is at beautiful Atins beach, where we will see where the Preguiças River meets the Atlantic.
We will continue walking for another 15 minutes until we reach a lagoon surrounded by dunes called Canto de Atins. Then we continue to the Época lagoon, a freshwater oasis that hidden in the miles of sand where you will have free time to take a dip and enjoy a rest.
Feeling energized, we will set off on the return journey, stopping for lunch in one of the restaurants along the way. And not only that, but you can also lie back in a hammock and disconnect.
Finally, we'll set off for Barreirinhas, where we'll arrive at around 4:30 pm.
