Rosario Islands Day Trip
Rosario Islands Day Trip
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Barranquilla at 5:30 am and head by minibus to Cartagena de Indias, one of the most historic cities in the Americas.
Once there, we'll enjoy a panoramic tour to discover the main monuments of the city. We'll go through the Manga neighbourhood, full of Moorish-style houses, and we'll reach the famous Pastelillo Fort, one of the symbols par excellence of Cartagena de Indias.
We'll then drive through the industrial area of Mamonal towards Playa Blanca, an idyllic destination on the Baru Peninsula, and did you know that it's one of the most coveted beaches in the Rosario Islands National Park? You'll soon find out why!
When you arrive at Playa Blanca, you'll have free time to stroll along the sand, sunbathe and cool off in the Caribbean Sea. If you're up for it, you can also go snorkelling, scuba diving and other nautical activities on your own.
To finish, we'll have a delicious lunch in Playa Blanca. You'll recover your strength with coconut rice, fried fish, patacones and salad.
We'll start our way back to Barranquilla and be back at the hotel at 6 pm.
