Snowshoeing in Cerro San Martín
Description
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Bariloche and head west to discover the beautiful landscapes of the Argentinian Patagonia!
After a journey of about 30 minutes, we'll arrive at Cerro San Martín. Once there, we'll put on our snowshoes and the rest of the necessary equipment to embark on an unforgettable ice trekking route. On this hike, which will be of low difficulty, we'll cover 2 kilometres (1.24 miles) during which we'll have to cross several sections with a total vertical gain of 100 metres (328 feet).
Throughout this snowshoeing tour on Cerro San Martín, we'll make a number of different stops to enjoy the beautiful panoramic views of Bariloche's postcard-worthy snowy landscapes!
During one of these breaks, we'll take the oppurtunity to enjoy a delicious scenic picnic, which includes a sandwich with hot tea as well as an alfajor (a sweet pastry). After lunch, we'll have a short break and, if you wish, you can go tobogganing down the some of the mountain slopes!
Finally, we'll start the hike down to the starting point. From there we'll return to your hotel in Bariloche, where we'll arrive between 4 and 6 hours after pickup.
