Manso River Chilean Border Rafting
Tour Options
During the booking process, you'll get to choose between the following options. Both include hotel pickup and drop-off, a Spanish or Portuguese-speaking guide, the necessary equipment, breakfast, and lunch.
Manso River Rafting (10 Hours)
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Bariloche and from there we'll head south towards El Bolsón. Time for an adventure!
We'll head inland into the Manso Valley until we reach the Patagonia Campestre complex, where we'll have tortas fritas (a local pastry) for breakfast with coffee, mate, or tea. Afterwards, we'll get equipped for rafting with wetsuits, helmets, windbreakers and life jackets. There, we'll give you a brief technical talk about the basic safety rules to follow.
After this training, we'll start the rafting activity on the Manso River. Throughout the ride, we'll raft through medium-level rapids and waterfalls located in the border area between Argentina and Chile. You'll have a blast!
We'll reach the border with Chile, where we'll stop to take in the scenic views of the Patagonia Mountains. You'll have some time to rest and take pictures before we then begin our journey back to the camp. Here, we'll enjoy a milanesa to recharge in this beautiful setting. The perfect finishing touch to the journey!
Manso River Rafting + Horseback Riding (11 Hours)
With this tour option, we'll have the same itinerary as described in the previous option. The main difference will be that, after lunch, our day will continue with a 1-hour horseback ride. Get ready to pass through the lenga forests of the region.
Throughout the experience, we'll ride across small streams and along the river shore as we tell you all about the surrounding fauna and flora. This is the perfect activity to make the most of your time here!
Hotel Pickup
This tour includes pickup from hotels located within a radius of 8 kilometres (4.9 miles) from Avenida Bustillo. If your accommodation is further away, we'll contact you after booking to arrange a meeting point.
