Cerro López Hiking Tour
Description
We'll pick you up at your Bariloche hotel and journey west to the base of Cerro Lopez. Here, we embark on an 8-kilometer (5-mile hike) with some challenging sections, with an elevation change of about 800 meters (2,625 feet).
Our trek begins with an ascent, offering captivating views of Argentine Patagonia. As we climb higher, we'll witness stunning panoramas of Nahuel Huapi and Moreno lakes, surrounded by the magnificent Andean mountains.
Passing through a beautiful cypress and lenga tree forest, we eventually reach López Refuge at 1600 meters (5,250 feet) altitude. Take a well-deserved break here, either enjoying a picnic you've brought along or purchasing some food at the refuge.
After recharging, we'll descend back to the base of Cerro Lopez. Your vehicle will be waiting to return you to Bariloche, concluding our adventure approximately 8 hours after the pickup time.
