Excellent For external reasons the activity could not be carried out on Cerro Lopez but the guide, Tomás, was very proactive and we went to do the hike on Cerro Goye... it was probably just as beautiful or more beautiful than in the initial place, we enjoyed it very much. One day before the activity, the guide contacted us and told us in detail what we were going to need... he made us feel extremely safe and calm, the guide was very attentive at all times. Recommended a thousand times!

Are you a nature enthusiast? Join us on this hike at the stunning Cerro Lopez, just half an hour from Bariloche, and immerse yourself in the breathtaking landscapes of Argentinean Patagonia.

Description

We'll pick you up at your Bariloche hotel and journey west to the base of Cerro Lopez. Here, we embark on an 8-kilometer (5-mile hike) with some challenging sections, with an elevation change of about 800 meters (2,625 feet).

Our trek begins with an ascent, offering captivating views of Argentine Patagonia. As we climb higher, we'll witness stunning panoramas of Nahuel Huapi and Moreno lakes, surrounded by the magnificent Andean mountains.

Passing through a beautiful cypress and lenga tree forest, we eventually reach López Refuge at 1600 meters (5,250 feet) altitude. Take a well-deserved break here, either enjoying a picnic you've brought along or purchasing some food at the refuge.

After recharging, we'll descend back to the base of Cerro Lopez. Your vehicle will be waiting to return you to Bariloche, concluding our adventure approximately 8 hours after the pickup time.

Excelente Por motivos externos la actividad no se pudo realizar por el Cerro Lopez pero el guía, Tomás, fue muy proactivo y fuimos a realizar la caminata por el Cerro Goye... probablemente fue igual o más hermoso que en el lugar inicial, lo disfrutamos muchísimo. Un día antes de la actividad, el guía se contactó con nosotros nos indicó con detalle lo que íbamos a necesitar... nos hizo sentir sumamente seguros y tranquilos, muy atento el guía en todo momento.
