Walking Tour of Bari
Walking Tour of Bari
After meeting up at the meeting point at the designated time, we'll head into the streets of Bari's historic centre to see the Basilica di San Nicola. Don't forget to look out for its crypt! We'll pass by Bari Cathedral to catch a glimpse of one of the best examples of Romanesque architecture.
Reaching the more contemporary districts of Bari, sometimes known as the "French area" for its architectural styles, we'll find Bari's most elegant stores and boutiques.
Our guided walking tour of Bari will then take us to see the 12th century castle known as the Castello Normanno-Svevo, which is one of the southern Italian city's most emblematic landmarks. Wandering through the winding alleyways of the old town, we'll get to experience one of Bari's most legendary traditions: locals sitting in their doorways and kneading pasta dough to make typical orecchiette in the street!
For the cherry on the cake, our tour will come to an end in a lively square, enjoying a delicious local product after 2 hours of exploring.
