The first stop of the day is in Martina Franca, a picturesque village tucked away in the Itria Valley. As we stroll through the historic old town, we'll marvel at the sheer beauty of the ornate churches and stately buildings. Fall in love with the medieval ambience of the town!
Next up? Alberobello! A genuine fairytale come to life, this magical village will make you feel like you're in a storybook. Full of quaint houses that look fit to house woodland gnomes and fairies, these small structures are actually called trullos. Fun fact: these houses were named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's no wonder, given the picture-perfect surroundings and roofs made of cone-shaped rocks.
Leaving behind the beautiful village, our journey leads us to yet another gem: Locorotondo. This charming white city is perched atop a hill, allowing for breathtaking views of the valley below.
Keep your eyes peeled during the short journey between Alberobello and Locorotondo, as from the bus we'll be treated to unparalleled panoramic views of the trullos and sprawling vineyards. Don't forget while in Locorotondo to enjoy a glass of the town's main product: white wine.
Then, after 6 hours of exploration and adventure, we'll return to the starting point in Bari, bringing the day to an end.
