Bardolino Winery Guided Visit
Bardolino Winery Guided Visit
At your chosen time, we'll meet on Strada del Progno, where one of Bardolino's most symbolic wineries is located. We'll start our tour by walking through the vineyards overlooking Lake Garda so you can discover the secrets behind the wine produced here.
As we stroll through the vineyards, we'll take a look at the different grape varieties that grow here in Northern Italy. We'll also tell you some interesting facts about each type of grape. In addition, we'll discuss how these crops are cared for and how the grapes are harvested by hand.
Once we've learned all about the cultivation and harvesting process, we'll go inside the winery and learn all about the different stages of production: pressing, fermentation, ageing and bottling. We'll tell you about the role each one plays in the production of Bardolino's exquisite wines.
Afterwards, we'll head to the tasting room. You'll taste two glasses of white wine and two glasses of red wine accompanied by several traditional regional appetisers. The expert sommelier will explain how you can extract the different hints of aroma, colour and flavour from the wines as you drink.
We'll then finish our tour outside the winery, 1 hour 30 minutes after we began.
