Monserrat + Wine & Cava Tour
After picking you up at your hotel, we'll leave Barcelona behind and head towards the magical mountain of Montserrat, a place of pilgrimage and part of the Way of St. James.
Our first stop will be at the Benedictine Monastery of Montserrat, a spiritual refuge with nearly a thousand years of history. As we walk through its interior, we'll tell you the secrets that this incredible place hides. Ever heard of the famous Moreneta? Do you know what the Escolania de Montserrat is?
Next, we'll continue our tour in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, the capital of cava. There we'll visit the facilities of a winery famous for its organic and ecological cultivation of grapes. We'll talk about the production of Corpinnat cava, a distinguished sparkling wine made in the heart of the Penedés region.
Have you worked up an appetite yet? After the visit, we'll taste three varieties of wine and cava paired with cheeses and traditional cured meats while enjoying the excellent views of the Montserrat mountain as a backdrop.
