Tossa de Mar Excursion + Scuba Diving or Kayaking
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Calle Sancho de Ávila, right in the centre of Barcelona. From there, we'll head for Tossa de Mar, one of the most charming towns on the Costa Brava.
During the trip, you'll enjoy beautiful views of the beaches and mountain peaks. Upon arrival, we'll equip ourselves for the water activity of your choice.
After the chosen activity, it'll be time to satisfy your appetite. We'll go to a local restaurant to enjoy a typical Mediterranean meal consisting of a starter, a main course and dessert. Delicious! With your batteries recharged, you'll have two hours of free time to explore Tossa de Mar, the only fortified medieval town still standing on the Catalan coast.
We recommend taking a leisurely stroll through its streets, exploring the walled city, visiting the emblematic Vila Vella and, of course, walking to the lighthouse and enjoying the fascinating views. You'll fall in love!
Finally, we'll meet again and travel back to Barcelona, where we'll finish the tour after a 12-hour journey.
Options
When booking, you can choose between two different options:
Excursion + Kayaking
With this option, when you arrive at the Tossa de Mar Kayak and Diving Centre, we'll give you all the equipment you need to enjoy a fun kayaking activity. After learning the basics of this water sport, we'll get into the boats and start sailing through the coves, sea caves and the rugged and wild landscape of the cliffs in this area of the Costa Brava.
In addition, during the kayak tour, you can jump into the water and snorkel in the crystal clear waters.
Excursion + Scuba Diving
If you want to discover the seabed of Tossa de Mar, this is the option for you. When you arrive at the aquatic centre, we'll give you all the scuba diving equipment you need.
If this is your first time diving, we'll teach you the basics and then go to a safe area for a scuba dive of about 45 minutes to a maximum depth of 8 metres (26 feet).
If, on the other hand, you already have a PADI certification, we'll review the theory and do a one-hour scuba dive up to the depth allowed by your certification. Perfect for the more experienced divers!
