La Pedrera-Casa Milà Guided Tour
Tour Options
A la hora de reservar, podréis escoger entre las siguientes modalidades. En ambas contaréis con un guía en español que os contará, según vuestra selección, todos los secretos de uno o dos de los monumentos imprescindibles de Gaudí en Barcelona.
Guided Tour of La Pedrera
Once we're all ready, we'll begin this guided tour of La Pedrera, the last work created by the modernist architect Antonio Gaudí. First, we'll admire the characteristic façade of this 20th-century bourgeois house, where the undulation and wrought-iron railings will impress you.
We'll enter La Pedrera and travel back in time as we walk through The Pedrera Apartment. What was life like for a bourgeois family in Barcelona at the time? The furniture and details we see along the way will give you an idea of this lifestyle.
Afterward, we'll explore the two inner courtyards, The Flower and the Butterfly Courtyards. We'll continue our tour of La Pedrera and visit The Whale Attic, a loft that will give you the sensation of entering the interior of a great living being.
Finally, we'll go up to The Warrior Rooftop, where the famous chimneys representing the warriors and guardians of La Pedrera await us. From here, you'll also have breathtaking views of Barcelona.
After a 1 hour and 15-minute guided tour, we'll say goodbye at the meeting point.
Guided Tour of La Pedrera + Casa Batlló
If you're interested in visiting two of the most important buildings by Gaudí in Barcelona on the same day, this is the best option. To start, we'll see the Casa Batlló.
We'll admire its imposing facade, filled with lively colors that will remind you of the maritime world, a recurring theme in the Catalan architecture's work. As we enter, you'll explore the different rooms of this house and see what was the lifestyle of the Batlló family in the 20th century.
You'll explore the first floor, where we'll see the grand salon, where you'll have amazing views of Passeig de Gràcia. Afterward, we'll admire the dining room and the modernist courtyard, the foyer of the interior courtyard, which gives access to the attic of the dragon. Once in the upper area, you'll admire the trencadís chimneys, one of Gaudí's techniques.
Once we finish the Casa Batlló tour, we'll head to La Pedrera and follow the itinerary previously described.
After 2 hours and 45 minutes, we'll conclude our tour outside La Pedrera.
