Iberian Ham Tasting in Barcelona

When reserving, you can choose which tasting best fits your tastes and preferences. All activities start at the time indicated in Carrer de la Marina de Barcelona. Here's what each tasting involves:

Light menu

If you choose this option, we'll serve you a delicious light menu which includes small slices of bread with Spanish omelette, as well as Russian salad and brie. Additionally, you'll try small plates of patatas bravas, 3 aperitifs, 3 cold plates and ham and cheese. You can also enjoy some traditional Catalan bread.

Ibérica tasting

At the time indicated, we'll enjoy a delicious Iberian Ham tasting. Are you ready to discover the most traditional and delicious flavours from the Catalan capital? We hope you're hungry!

Upon entering the bar, we'll take our seats and start this marvellous Iberian ham tasting in Barcelona. During the activity, we'll take you on a Spanish cuisine cultural journey. You'll try small sandwiches, patatas bravas, different special sausages, cheese and olives. And, of course, some Iberian ham.

The tasting activity will be accompanied by a glass of Catalan cava, another drink and traditional toast and tomato. Additionally, you'll enjoy a good cup of coffee at the end of the activity.

As we taste all of these treats, we'll explain everything you need to know about the ham and the different products at the tasting. All of this will take place in a friendly and authentic environment, just a few feet away from the Sagrada Familia.

After an hour-long tasting, we'll say our goodbyes and, if you're still hungry, you can continue tasting other products on your own.

Premium tasting

If you're looking for the most complete option, don't miss the Premium tasting. You enjoy a delicious menu composed of 4 types of excellent quality ham, from the most common to the belotta 100%, the most expensive category of ham in Spain. And you'll find out why!

But that's not all! We'll offer a selection of different traditional Spanish dishes, such as Russian salad and patatas bravas. You'll also try marinated olives, toast with tomato, a mix of manchego cheeses and various sausages.

In regards to the types of ham, we'll try a range, from the delicate taste of the jamón ibérico de cebo to the jamón ibérico de bellota. We'll indulge in the variety of flavours and textures that this special product has to offer while experts guide us for an hour.

Additionally, we'll accompany this activity with a glass of cava, water and two glasses of Bardós or Menade wine. Cheers!

Masterclass

Do you want a different tasting experience? Well, this is an excellent option! Get ready for a total immersion in the world of ham.

In this masterclass, your senses will be essential. During the 1 hour tasting, you'll have the opportunity to try all the different types and qualities of Iberian ham, from the smoothest and sweetest to the most flavoursome and intense. Reserva, Cebo, Cebo Campo, Ibérico Bellota 50% and Ibérico Bellota 100%. You'll try 5 different types of ham and we'll explain a bit about each one!

Additionally, we'll explain the importance of carving, curation methods and the influence of the pig's diet on each type of ham.

But that's not all. The masterclass also includes two carefully selected wines that go splendidly with each of the hams. You'll end this experience being true experts in the field!
