Watch!, Watch!, Watch! by Henri Cartier-Bresson
In this exhibition, dedicated to one of the most influential photographers of the 20th century, you can discover Henri Cartier-Bresson's ability to capture the 'decisive moment', that spontaneous instant that defines an image. This exhibition, produced in collaboration with the Bucerius Kunstforum in Hamburg, includes 240 original prints ranging from his early photographs and surrealist works to political reportage and portraits of artists and writers. This collection highlights his contribution to photography from the 1930s to the 1970s, consolidating his role as a master of street photography.
KBr Flama’24
For yet another year, KBr Fundación MAPFRE is committed to emerging talent with the fourth edition of KBr Flama, a project that brings together promising young photographers. On this occasion, the exhibition presents the work of Laura Aranda Lavado, Estefania Bedmar, Malu Reigal and Alain Rojas Pastor, all of them trained at leading photography schools in Barcelona. These artists, selected by a jury of experts, exhibit their projects in a careful selection that reflects the present and future of contemporary photography.
