Free Walking Tour of Park Güell
Free Walking Tour of Park Güell
At your chosen time, inside the Park Güell, at Ctra. del Carmel, 22 and get our free walking tour of started.
As well as being an iconic masterpiece by Gaudí, Park Güell is one of the most famous examples of art nouveau in the city of Barcelona.
When we step inside, we'll immediately see one of the park's most well-known monuments. This would be the Dragon Stairway, a striking set of stairs where you can take plenty of photos while we discuss it.
Our free tour will then continue as we pass by the Hypostyle Room and the Laundry Room Portico. As we stroll around, we'll discuss the characteristics and symbolism of the modernist elements on display throughout the park. You'll also see how a perfect fusion of architecture and nature has been achieved in the park's design.
References to Greek mythology, alchemy, religion, the Catalan renaissance... These and many other concepts have created a living space bursting with undulating shapes and colours. We'll round off our tour by visiting the viewpoint of Park Güell, which offers incredible views of the city and the sea.
