Your ticket to the Erotic Museum of Barcelona will grant you admission to a space filled with around 800 pieces of erotic artwork. During your visit, you'll observe ancient sculptures and paintings from all over the world as well as modern objects such as edited photographs or films.
As you explore Spain's first sex-themed museum with a fascinating audioguide, you'll learn about the influence of eroticism throughout history. Sexual themes have been part of human culture since the dawn of time, which you can observe in rooms such as the one dedicated to pornographic films commissioned by King Alfonso XIII. Three of these films are still on display.
As you explore the museum, you'll discover different facets of the erotic world as exhibited in paintings, sculptures, and different forms of entertainment.
Temporary exhibition
Until December 8, 2023, the Erotic Museum of Barcelona presents the temporary exhibition "Shibari. The erotic art of ropes", which exhibits the work of Polo Picart. This photographer opens the doors to the world of Shibari, a universe of mystery, sensuality and beauty.
