Costa Brava Day Trip

Climb aboard a comfortable air-conditioned bus at the scheduled time and relax as you head north towards the province of Girona.

Your first stop will be Calella de Palafrugell, a small fishing village with pleasant white houses surrounded by beautiful coves. You’ll have time to explore its historic center at your own pace.

Next, you’ll walk along the Caminos de Ronda (in Catalan: Camins de Ronda), a picturesque coastal footpath once used to control and stop smuggling. After a short stretch, you'll arrive at Llafranc, another elegant and charming seaside resort.

Here, you'll have free time to eat and enjoy the typical maritime cuisine of the area. If you want, you can also take a dip in the beautiful beach. Our next stop will be Begur, a town located under an ancient castle that's famous for its Indian houses. As you stroll along its streets, you'll discover this fascinating architecture that blends the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.

Our next stops will be the towns of Peratallada and Pals, considered the best-preserved medieval towns in Catalonia. Peratallada declared a Conjunto Histórico-Artístico ("Historic-Artistic Grouping") and a Bien Cultural de Interés Nacional ("Cultural Asset of National Interest"), is one of the best examples of the country's medieval architecture. Once we arrive, we'll go on a walk along its narrow streets and discover its castle palace, its unique fortified system, and its stone houses with areas that are practically unaltered by the passage of time.

Then, we'll head to the medieval town of Pals. Located on top of a hill, it has a seventh-century tower that provides magnificent panoramic views of Costa Brava. You’ll have time to tour the Old Town and its cobbled streets at your leisure.

Finally, you’ll get back on the coach and head back to the center of Barcelona, arriving after a total of about 11.5 hours.
