On this excursion from Baños, you'll discover Quilotoa Lake, considered the most beautiful lagoon in Ecuador and maybe even the world!

Quilotoa Lake Excursion

Between 7 and 8 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Baños de Agua Santa and set off towards Quilotoa. During the two-and-a-half-hour journey, we'll enjoy riding along the famous Calle de los Volcanes, a route that offers views of some of the most important volcanoes of the Andes.

We'll continue our journey by car until we arrive at the entrance to Quilotoa Lake. From there we'll go on a half-hour walk to reach this wonderful lake, which will leave you mesmerized by its intense turquoise color. You won't believe your eyes!

Our next stop will be at the Shalala viewpoint, which offers privileged views of the entire lagoon and the surrounding environment. After this visit, we'll start the route back to the bus, which will take about an hour and a half.

On the way back to the hotel, we'll also be able to learn about some of the traditions and way of life of the area's different Indigenous communities. The approximate time of arrival is at 4 pm.
