At the time you choose upon booking, we'll meet at the Golden Place to start this tour of some of Bangkok's most famous landmarks, which happen to be among the most visually stunning architectural marvels in Thailand.
As we cross the white walls and step into the complex, we'll begin our 2-hour guided tour of this dazzling historical site. Did you know that most of Thailand's commemorative events are held here? And that celebrities such as Bill Clinton and Pope John Paul II have passed through here?
Throughout the tour, we’ll wander around the massive home of the royal family and be on the lookout for brilliant statues, intricate works of art, and relevant historical landmarks.
We'll then access the temple of the Emerald Buddha or Wat Phra Kaew, which is also part of the Grand Palace complex. Here we'll find the most revered religious icon of the Thai people, a sculpture carved out of a single piece of green jade whose robes are made of pure gold. The temple grounds are also breathtaking.
