Our Private Tours
When booking, you can choose from the following tours from Bangkok. All options include hotel pickup and drop-off, transport in a private vehicle and an English-speaking guide. We'll explain the details of each tour below.
Ayutthaya Ruins (9-10 hours)
We'll pick you up from your hotel at the agreed time and drive to Ayutthaya, a World Heritage city and Thailand's historic capital. After travelling approximately 80 km (50 miles), we'll arrive at our destination.
Our first stop will be Wat Mahathat Temple, the royal monastery that served as the residence of the supreme monk. Did you know that it became famous for its Buddha head wrapped in the roots of a hundred-year-old tree? You'll be fascinated!
Then, we'll discover the Wat Phra Sri Sanphet Temple, the largest and most important, used as a residential palace, followed by the Wihan Phra Mongkhon Bophit Temple, home to the large and famous bronze statue of the Buddha depicted in the lotus position. It's a true marvel!
Finally, we'll visit Wat Lookayasutharam Temple, one of the most popular in Ayutthaya, where you can admire the gigantic statue of the Reclining Buddha, 37m (120 feet) long and 8m (26 feet) high.
After visiting the temples, we'll embark on a short river cruise to discover the rural landscapes of the region. While taking in the natural beauty on both sides of the river, you'll recharge your batteries with a buffet-style lunch featuring a variety of Eastern and Western dishes.
While sipping a coffee, you'll have the opportunity to marvel at other beautiful monuments and temples in the area, such as the colourful Royal Barges House, Thammasart University, Siriraj Hospital, the Grand Royal Palace, the elegant Wat Arun temple, better known as the Temple of Dawn, and Wat Kallayanamitr, one of Bangkok's most renowned temples, located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River.
At the pier in Bangkok, we'll take you back to your hotel.
Availability: this tour runs 6 days a week and does not run on Tuesdays

Next, you'll explore the famous Mae Klong Railway Market, one of the most surreal markets in the world. If you're lucky, you'll be able to see the train pass through the centre of the market and the vendors scramble to make their way. You'll be amazed at how quickly they return to their seats!
Finally, we'll head to Ayutthaya Historical Park: from the 15th to the 18th century, this place was the capital of the Kingdom of Siam and an important trading centre. Accompanied by your guide, you'll visit Wat Yai Chai Mongkol, with its reclining Buddha statue, Wat Mahatat and Wat Chaiwatthanaram, with its imposing pagodas.
At the end of the activity, we'll take you back to your hotel.

Next, we'll move on to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where we'll take a traditional boat ride along the canals. It's the best way to explore this market on water!
After discovering two of the most unique places in the whole of Asia, we'll return to your hotel.

Amphawa Floating Market + Roots Temple + Dragon Temple (Saturday & Sunday - 8 hours)
We'll pick you up from your hotel and take you to Wat Samphran, better known as the Dragon Temple. It's a huge 17-storey building surrounded by a huge dragon that crawls right up to the roof. Would you like to discover the strange story that unfolds inside?
Afterwards, we'll visit Wat Bang Kung Temple, known as the Root Temple, to see the famous Buddha statue inside. You can learn more about its history and how Buddhism is revered by making offerings to the statue.
Finally, we'll venture to the Amphawa Floating Market, where we'll board a traditional Thai boat for around an hour to discover the daily life of the locals and admire the bioluminescent spectacle of the Amphawa fireflies. Want to find out what it's all about? You'll have to wait until the day of the visit!
