Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Elefin Coffee on Maha Rat Street. There, after a brief introduction, we'll head to the pier from where we'll start this boat trip through the canals of Bangkok, discovering some of its most unknown corners!

We'll board a traditional long-tail boat and start sailing through the waters of the Thai capital. During the boat ride, we'll tell you a lot of interesting facts: what is life like for locals? What are the traditions they keep to this day?

We'll make a stop at the Artist's House, locally called Baan Silapin, a traditional residence that houses a museum of Thai art. We'll explore this old wooden building, which is over 200 years old and has been lovingly restored by its owner. It's very picturesque!

Along the way, we'll also visit Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen, a temple built in the middle of the Krungsri Ayudhya period on the banks of the Bangkok Yai canal, where we can admire its impressive Big Buddha, 60 metres (196 ft) high! Did you know that its construction was completed in 2021? As we walk around this Buddhist centre, we'll tell you about the reason for its name, which has to do with its location on the banks of Bangkok's canals.

After a total of 2 hours, we'll return to the starting point, where the boat tour will end.

Partial Closures

Due to ongoing construction until June 2025, we can only view the Big Buddha from the outside.
