Thai Flower Market Private Tour & Workshop
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Bangkok. From there, we'll travel to the Bangkok Flower Market, where we'll meet local artisans and learn how they create delicate flower arrangements.
Once we arrive, we'll walk around the different stalls to see the variety of flowers grown in the country. It's a little-known fact that Bangkok has one of the largest flower markets in the world. In fact, Thailand exports flowers to a lot of countries.
Orchids, jasmine, lotuses, fistula cassia... Take your pick! We'll be shown a huge variety of types of flowers and you'll learn all about this traditional art and its cultural importance and heritage in Thailand.
Afterwards, you'll enjoy a 90-minute lotus flower folding workshop with a local vendor and learn how to make beautiful flower garlands like a real artisan.
Of course, our private tour wouldn't be complete without paying a visit to the Baan Kudichin Museum, open every day except Mondays. You'll discover the history, culture and traditions of the former Portuguese-Thai community.
After four hours, we'll finish the private tour at the starting point in Bangkok.
