On this tour of Banff, you'll discover the Banff National Park, visit Sulphur Mountain, and choose whether to explore Johnston Canyon or the Grassi Lakes. Don't miss it!

Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from the point you selected to begin this adventure through the most amazing corners of the Banff National Park. Are you ready to discover the best of the Rocky Mountains?

We'll start by hopping on the famous Banff Gondola cable car to ascend to the top of Sulphur Mountain. Here, you'll enjoy the scenic views of the city of Banff, along with the majestic peaks of the Rocky Mountains.

Our next stop will be the National Cave and Basin Historic Site. Here, you'll spend 30 minutes discovering the origin of the thermal waters that gave place to the park's creation in 1885. As we stroll, you'll learn about the cultural and ecological significance of this unique space in Canada. You'll love this region's fascinating history!

Then, we'll head to Bow Falls, a beautiful waterfall. We'll walk along Bow River, where you can relax while admiring the landscape. After, we'll make a short stop at one of the area's best viewpoints so that you can take in the stunning views of the Banff Springs Hotel, framed by the mountains and the river. Don't forget your camera!

Afterward, we'll explore the curious Hoodoos rock formations, rock spires that stand out for their peculiar shape. Imagine how erosion has shaped this area over the centuries! From here, you'll enjoy unforgettable sights of the Bow Valley and the surrounding mountains.

Our tour will continue toward Mount Norquay lookout, a spot that offers incomparable views of Banff and Bow Valley. After a quick pause to take pictures, you'll have 1.5 hours of free time to walk around Banff and grab a bite to eat.

Next, we'll reach Lake Minnewanka, the national park's largest lake. Its turquoise waters and surrounding mountains create a postcard-perfect scenery! Here, you'll have between 30 minutes and 1 hour to stroll, enjoy a picnic next to the lake if you brought something to eat or, if you're up for it, rent a kayak or boat.

To wrap up our tour, you'll have 1 hour to visit Johnston Canyon or the Grassi Lakes. If you choose to visit Johnston Canyon, you'll get to stroll on walkways that will take you to the spectacular waterfalls and limestone gorges. If you prefer seeing the Grassi Lakes, you'll enjoy two turquoise blue lagoons that are so shiny, they'll seem as if they're from a dream. Both of these sites are ideal for a relaxed walk in nature.

We'll be back at your hotel after 10 to 12 hours. Until next time!
