Banff National Park Tour
At the agreed time we'll pick you up at the bus parking lot located behind the Mount Royal Hotel. From there we'll set off on a fascinating tour of the main attractions of Banff, the gateway to the Canadian Rockies. Get your camera ready!
We'll travel by minibus through Banff National Park, a natural refuge created in 1885 to protect the Cave and Basin hot springs. This set of springs is, in fact, the oldest protected area in Canada and has been a special place for Indigenous Peoples for over 10,000 years. The first stop on the tour is one of the great jewels of Banff, Bow Falls. You'll love the relaxing sound of the water against the stone!
Afterward, we'll admire the panoramic views at the famous Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, nicknamed the "Castle in the Rockies". We'll then continue the route through Banff at the Surprise Corner viewpoint, which features one of the best views in the park.
The next viewpoint we'll visit will be that of the Banff Hoodoos, where we'll learn all about these imposing rock formations, followed by a visit to Lake Minnewanka, the largest lake in Banff National Park.
While we soak up the area's beauty and learn about its history, we'll sip on a well-deserved hot chocolate and have a snack. Finally, our tour of Banff will conclude and we'll return to the meeting point after a total of 3 hours.
