Come visit the Barra Norte neighbourhood, one of the highlights of Balneario Camboriú, we'll ride the famous FG Big Wheel and take a tour of the town of Itajaí.

Barra Norte, Itajaí Tour + FG Big Wheel Ferris

At 8:30 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Balneario Camboriú to start discovering Barra Norte, one of the most attractive neighbourhoods of the city.

We'll make our first stop at the Pontal Deck Norte promenade, where we'll take a pleasant walk for an hour and a half to contemplate the local nature. Then, we'll go to the FG Big Wheel: one of the most amazing attractions of Balneario Camboriú. From one of its panoramic pods, we'll enjoy a breathtaking view at a height of 65 metres (213 feet).

After enjoying the panoramic views, we'll continue the tour through the Barra Norte neighbourhood with a panoramic tour of the Cabeçudas, Atalaia, Jeremias and Pedra do Bico do Papagaio beaches. We'll also make a short stop at the pier so you can take pictures from this spot. Then we'll head to the Beira Rio area, where you can enjoy the tasty local cuisine in a restaurant on your own.

After regaining our strength, we'll leave Balneario Camboriú behind and, after only a 15-minute drive, we'll arrive in the nearby town of Itajaí: one of the starting ports of the popular Volvo Ocean Race. We'll tour the picturesque old town and visit the Historical Museum, where we'll learn lots of interesting facts about the town's past.

We'll continue our tour of Itajaí at the Matriz do Santíssimo Sacramento church. In this place, declared World Heritage Site, you'll have 30 minutes of free time to visit its different chapels. Finally, we'll go to Morro da Cruz to contemplate the skyline of the city.

From Itajaí we'll finally return to your hotel in Balneario Camboriú, where we'll arrive at 3:30 pm.
