Surfing Lesson in Connemara
Surfing Lesson in Connemara
Ballyconneely, on Connemara's coastline, is one of the best places to go surfing in Ireland. We'll begin learning the basics of this popular water sport in the car park of Keogh's shop, where we'll meet at your chosen time.
After learning some theory, we'll head to the beach so we can practise keeping our balance on the surfboard. You'll soon get the hang of it! The instructor will teach you the main techniques on the sand so you feel completely ready when it's time to get into the water.
We'll then start surfing alongside Connemara's coastline and exploring beautiful spots such as Mannin Bay while riding the waves of the Atlantic Ocean.
As you get more and more comfortable on the board, you'll understand why this water sport is so popular! You'll also see how this stretch of coastline is the perfect place for beginners learning how to surf.
Having spent 2 hours 30 minutes learning how to surf, we'll finish the activity and take our equipment back to the meeting point.
