On this guided tour of Ubud, we'll discover the most interesting landmarks of this town in Bali, including the Royal Palace and the Pura Taman Saraswati temple.
Ubud Guided Tour
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head to Ubud Palace - once the official residence of the royal family of Ubud. Time for our guided tour of Ubud to start!
To start off our time together, we'll make our way along the Campuhan Ridge Walk. Along the way, we'll admire the landscape of vibrant green trees and fields. Of course, there'll be plenty of opportunities along the walk to take pictures in front of the beautiful backdrop.
After enjoying the walk, we'll pay a visit to the Saraswati Temple. This shrine filled with lotus flowers and ponds is a must-see place on the Island of the Gods. Built by the current royalty of Ubud, the temple is dedicated to Saraswati, the Hindu deity of knowledge, art and literature.
The next stop on our route will be the Ubud Traditional Market. This market is a popular place for buying beautiful handmade products such as silk scarves, woven bags, souvenirs and much more. The market also happens to be located among the best art-producing villages making it a great place to get Balinese handicrafts and souvenirs.
Having enjoyed a visit to the market, we'll head to our next destination: Monkey Forest Ubud. This sanctuary is home to over 1200 long-tailed macaque monkeys. As well as that, the sanctuary is home to 186 species of plants and trees that span across its 12.5 hectares of forest.
Finally, after a jam-packed 5 to 6-hour long tour, we'll say our goodbyes as we drop you back to your hotel. See you next time!
