Originating in the 1930s, this show narrates a story based on the epic poem Ramayana, a famous and sacred text in India. During the show, that takes place in Ubud, we'll watch the story of the monkey god Hanuman helping King Rama to defeat Ravana unfold.
This 1-hour long ritual dance predominantly features men depicting the story while dressed in traditional clothing, like a sarong, while singing "cak" songs throughout the show. You're sure to be captivated by the dramatization of this story performed with fire!
