At the indicated time, we'll meet at Casa China Bacalar ready to set sail on an unforgettable private boat cruise on Lake Bacalar.
We'll enjoy a 4-hour boat tour, during which we'll get to admire the Black Cenote, the Emerald Cenote, the Cocalitos Cenote and the Pirates Channel, a strategic point that connects the lake with the Bay of Chetumal. Did you know that in the past this came under numerous attacks by pirates?
During the cruise, we'll also pass by the Isla de los Pájaros, or Birds' Island, to see the parrots, owls, larks and sparrow hawks that inhabit this beautiful spot. What's more, this area is home to stromatolites, and unusual rock formations that were key to the development of life on our planet.
On the boat trip, you'll also have the opportunity to dive into the turquoise waters of Lake Bacalar whenever you want. The cruise also includes a delicious lunch, consisting of vegan kebabs, shrimp kebabs, meat kebabs, guacamole, 6 beers per adult and natural fruit water.
Finally, after 4 hours in total, we'll return to the starting point.
