Somiedo Natural Park Tour
Tour Details
On the day of the tour, we'll pick you up at the designated meeting point and begin an excursion to explore some of the most picturesque villages in the Somiedo Natural Park. Ready to discover one of Spain's most stunning landscapes? Trust us, you’ll fall in love with it!
Our first stop will be at Alto de la Farrapona, where we’ll embark on a scenic walk through this breathtaking spot. For about an hour, we’ll visit one of the area’s hidden gems, the Cave Lake, taking you to some of the most secluded corners. Afterward, we’ll visit the Somiedo Ecomuseum, a perfect place to learn about the region's rural way of life and traditions.
Next, we’ll head to Pola de Somiedo. Did you know that English explorer Joseph Townsend mentions this village in his book A Journey Through Spain in the Time of Charles III? No surprise there! In Pola de Somiedo, you’ll have some free time to enjoy lunch and explore the charming town at your own pace.
Finally, we’ll make our way to Santa María del Puerto, a quaint village nestled in the heart of the Cantabrian Mountains. Its stunning landscapes are sure to captivate you!
At the end of the tour, we’ll return to the minibus and head back to the meeting point, where we’ll arrive between 10 and 11 hours after departure.
