Provence Tour & Wine Tasting
Description
We'll begin by gathering at the designated spot, 41 Cours Jean Jaurès in Avignon, and set off towards the enchanting Châteauneuf du Pape. Within this picturesque Provencal village, we'll explore two wineries – a selection that might vary based on availability and season. Be prepared to indulge in the region's renowned wines during our captivating wine tastings – a true reflection of the South of France's excellence.
Following our wine-filled adventure, you'll be able to buy lunch at the second winery we visit if you wish. Our journey then leads us to Roussillon, a proud member of the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages of France. With its strategic position, the village treats us to captivating views. Enjoy some free time to discover Roussillon's viewpoints at your own pace.
Our route continues, unveiling the iconic Pont Julien, an ancient Roman bridge – a photo opportunity not to be missed. Next, we'll visit Lacoste, where you can marvel at the Marquis de Sade's castle from the exterior.
Our voyage culminates with a quick pause in Gordes, granting you the chance to capture the medieval village's charm and take some stunning pictures.
Last, we'll return to Avignon, marking the completion of our journey. We'll arrive back at the starting point approximately 10 hours after the initial pickup.
