Scenic Austin Night Tour

We'll pick you up from your accommodation in downtown Austin to begin this guided tour of the city at night. Let's dive into the magical atmosphere of Austin at night!

Our first stop will be Austin's Lady Bird Lake, where we'll enjoy an incredible sunset cruise. We'll get stunning views as we admire the changing colours above the skyline. Don't forget your camera!

If you do this tour between March and October, you may be lucky enough to witness Austin's world-famous Congress Avenue Bridge Bats! The guide will lead you on a bat-watching excursion to admire fabled Mexican or Brazilian Free-Tailed Bats. See them take flight from beneath the Congress Avenue Bridge, where a huge colony of 1.5 million bats reside. It's one of the largest colonies of urban bats in the world! With speeds of 60 miles per hour, you'll be awestruck at the sight of these bats with their fascinating and erratic flight patterns soaring across the colourful night sky.

Then, we'll get back in the minibus and enjoy a narrated drive, stopping at various iconic landmarks of Austin. The guide will tell you lots of fascinating facts about the local area. We'll have the chance to stop at points to get the best views of the city. These include Pfluger Bridge, a beautiful pedestrian and bicycle bridge spanning Lady Bird Lake in downtown Austin, beautiful historic homes at the Bremond and Rainey Street Historic Districts, the vibrant South Congress Street, and the iconic Welcome to Austin Mural - beautifully lit up at night.

At the end of the 2-hour tour, we'll drop you off at your Downtown Austin hotel.
