On the day of the activity, we'll meet at 1 Okura River Rd in Auckland at the scheduled time and begin this exciting bioluminescence kayaking tour to discover this stunning natural phenomenon.

At sunset, when we're all together, the experienced guides will first give us an informative chat about the bioluminescence tour and make sure we're good to go. After this, we'll get all the necessary equipment ready and then make our way to the area where we'll launch the kayaks. The kayaks available include both single and tandem kayaks.

As we begin to paddle our kayaks, the friendly and helpful guides will tell us all about the magical glowing water and the native marine life that calls the bay home. Paddling through the water will trigger the bioluminescence. You can even reach into the water and cause it to light up with your hand. You'll feel like a character straight out of Avatar! Enjoy being a part of this small, intimate group in an area with little to no light pollution. The darker it is, the better we'll be able to see the bioluminescence.

After 2 hours together, we'll bring this bioluminescence kayaking tour to an end back at the starting point. Until next time!
